Assisted Suicide Group Charged in Forsyth County

Four people, Thomas E. Goodwin, Dr. Lawrence D. Egbert, Nicholas Alec
Sheridan,and Chaire Blehr, all memebers of an assisted suicide
group who authorties said aided in the deaths of dozens of
people, were indicted by a grand jury in Forsyth County on Tuesday.
The four were arrested in February of last year and charged
with assisted suicide.
The four are indicted on four on charges of offering to assist
in the commission of suicide, tampering with evidence and a
violation of the state anti-racketeering laws.
Goodwin is the former president of Final Exit Network`s, Egbert
was the organization`s medical director, Sheridan was a regional
coordinator, and Blehr was a member.
