Matt Diaz drove in the winning run with an eighth-inning
double as the Braves beat Phillies 5-2 Thursday night.
The victory gave Atlanta its first home sweep of
Philadelphia in four years.
The victory also tightened the NL East race with
Philadelphia and Florida tied atop the East, New York
one game back and the Braves back two.
Atlanta is also closing in on the .500 mark at 38-40.
Atlanta goes into the All-Star break with a road trip
to Washington and Chicago.
