OFFICIAL RULES
- GRAND PRIZE: The grand prize starts at $50. Each day there is no winner, that amount increases by
$15 each day the contest is played. The winner is awarded the amount accrued through the day
that he/she wins. The next days prize returns to $50. TOTAL VALUE: Varies daily.
- You may register online (see above). You may also
send a self-addressed, stamped, envelope to Coosa Valley News E-Code, 512 Avenue A, Suite A, Rome, Ga 30165
to get your E-Code.
- Potential winners will be selected randomly from among e-Code holders.
- The contest will normally be played Monday - Friday. Coosa Valley News reserves the right
to not play the contest on selected days.
- At approximately 9:00 AM , the current day’s e-Code will be posted:
- The person with that assigned E-Code must call the e-Code line, at (706) 368-6464 by within
one half hour of their number being revealed, that is by 9:30 AM. Upon confirming
that they have the winning e-Code, they must enter a contact phone number as instructed.
- The winner must enter their contact information on the e-Code Line (706) 368-6464 not later
than 9:30 AM of the day of their e-code`s being selected.
- The person or person(s) leaving their contact phone number will be contacted to confirm the
winning e-Code.
- One E-code per person.
- Winners may not win again for six months.
- The winner may pick up their prize check at Nexcom of Georgia, 209 Turner McCall Blvd, Rome, GA 30165
on the next business day following their win.
- The winner has two weeks to claim their prize or the prize is forfeited. Winner must present
legal photo identification or birth certificate.
- Employees of Coosa Valley News and Nexcom of Georgia, their spouses, and any one living in
their household are not eligible to win the grand prize.
- The management of Coosa Valley News is the sole authority for deciding any dispute over qualification and awarding of prizes.
- Winners or their legal guardians are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes which may apply.
- Winners or their legal guardians must sign a release form permitting use of name, likeness, and voice for publicity and advertising purposes.
- Winners or their legal guardians will be required to furnish an affidavit of eligibility and general release, and to furnish a Social Security Number.
- No purchase necessary.
- Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions permitted. If a winner declines a prize, it is
forfeited.
- Odds of winning depend on number of e-Code holders at the time of selection.
- This contest is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
- All Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
- By entering, participants release and hold harmless Coosa Valley News and sponsor(s), their
subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, owners, employees, and agents from
any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any sort that results from
participation in this contest and/or use of any prize.
- Coosa Valley News reserves the right, on its sole discretion, to cancel this contest for any reason
whatsoever without notice. The contest will be cancelled or suspended if fraud or any other factor
compromises the integrity of the contest.
- Neither Coosa Valley News nor any sponsor is responsible for any error, omission, loss, defect,
delay, communications failure, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration
of entries.
- Neither Coosa Valley News nor any sponsor is responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions,
including but not limited to, telephone systems, computers, Internet congestion and
failure of e-mail systems.
- Any attempt by an entrant or any other person to deliberately damage any
web site or undermine the integrity of the contest may be a violation of both
criminal and civil laws. Coosa Valley News and any sponsors reserve the right to prosecute
such actions and seek damages from any such person or organization to the fullest
extent permitted by the law.
- Information by Mail - A copy of these rules and the results of the contest
may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelop to:
