Scotty Michael Craig, 27 of Silver Creek, was jailed this week after police said he ran from them and attempted to destroy drugs while on a chase.
Officers were responding to a suspicious person call near Mark Grove and Booze Mountain Roads when they saw Craig and initiated an investigation.
It was then Craig dropped a bag of suspected meth and fled the scene on foot.
Officers said that the bag contained meth, a digital scale and a small spoon.
It was also discovered that Craig was wanted from a September 28th incident that saw him failing to report and accident and leaving the scene.
Craig is charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, loitering, obstruction, duty to report an accident, driving without license, reckless driving, too fast for conditions and parole violation.
