Quran Shaheed McCain, 21 of Rome, was jailed this week after he allegedly reported a wreck on December 18 at Second Ave. and Shorter Ave., reporting he had been injured as a passenger in a family member’s SUV.
Reports added that an investigation determined McCain lied about his statements to police. .
McCain is charged with felony false statements or writings in matters of government.
