Michael Bruce Jordan, 37 of Rome, was arrested at the Loop at Redmond Circle this week during a traffic stop that led police to find numerous drugs.

Reports said that officers pulled Jordan over for driving 64 in a 45 zone.  While speaking with Jordan, police said they detected the smell of marijuana coming from the car.

A search was then conducted, an in the process leading police to find marijuana and methamphetamine.

It was then determined that Jordan had altered the car’s license plate, the registration had been cancelled and that he had no insurance.

Jordan is charged with DUI, possession of meth, possession of marijuana, driving without license, having a cracked windshield, concealing the identity of a vehicle, alteration of license plate, driving on an expired tag, driving without insurance, driving on expired license, failure to maintain lane and speeding.
