Jason Riley Morris, 40 of Silver Creek, was jailed after reports said he repeatedly hit a 37 year-old woman in the face in front of a small child.
Reports added that Morris also punched three holes in the wall, causing close to $500 in damages. He also allegedly destroyed the victim’s vacuum cleaner.
The victim received cuts and bruises to her face, according to reports.
The incident occurred at a home on Highpoint Court.
Morris is charged with battery, criminal damage to property, cruelty to children and failure to appear.
