Cedric Jackson, 25, and Amanda Nails, 34, both of Rome, were arrested this week for being in possession of a stolen firearm and drugs.

According to police, on November 25, 2018, after a vehicle pursuit, Nails and Jackson were found with a large quantity of methamphetamine and a firearm that had been reported stolen in Calhoun County, Alabama.

On November 28, 2018, the two lied and helped a wanted felon hide from police.

Nails is charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property from another state, felony possession of methamphetamine, and two counts of willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.

Jackson is charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property from another state, felony possession of methamphetamine, and willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.
