Alan Rogers, 28, of Rome was arrested this week after hitting another person with a baseball bat.

According to police, on November 3, 2018, Rogers entered the victim’s residence with the intent to cause damage to the property. While at the residence, he also hit the victim with a baseball bat.

When officers arrived to serve the arrest warrant on November 28, 2018, Rogers proceeded to hide in an air conditioner vent in an attempt to avoid arrest.

Rogers is charged with felony aggravated assault, criminal trespass, willful obstruction of law enforcement officers, and parole violation.
