A body that was found near the intersection of Cunningham Road and Highway 411 has been identified as that of 33 year-old Karen Hope Parr of Rome.
Reports said that the body was found several feet from the road.
Sources have told CVN that Parr’s death was drug related, but did not indicate whether it was self induced or forced on her. They also indicated that the body may have been in the area for over a day.
According to Floyd County Police officer Jerome Poole there were no signs of trauma on the body. He added that investigators have been going door to door in the area and interviewing residents.
The body will be sent to the GBI crime lab for an autopsy.
