Roscoe Lscott Covington, 46 of Centre, was arrested at the Car Mart on Martha Berry Blvd this week after a short chase.
Reports said that Covington allegedly broke a meth pipe during a foot chase outside the store. They added that during the chase Covington tossed two glass pipes containing suspected meth, one of which shattered.
Covington is charged with tampering with evidence, two counts possession of drug related objects, possession of meth and obstruction of police.
