On September 20, acting in response to a report of children having been sexually molested, Sheriff’s detectives initiated an investigation into the activities of a Reeves Station Road man. Detectives and child advocacy personnel interviewed a number of children and detectives questioned other witnesses.

The investigation concerned events spanning a 9 month period and involving 3 minor children ages 5 through 11. On Thursday, September 27, detectives arrested one Justin Scott Baker, age 40, of 1276 Reeves Station Road. Baker turned himself in to detectives at the Sheriff’s Office. Detectives had sought Baker several days earlier for questioning, but have reason to believe that he traveled out of state to Florida before turning himself in. Baker has been charged with (multiple counts) Aggravated Child Molestation, Child Molestation , Aggravated Sexual Battery, Sexual Battery, and Enticing Minors. He remains in jail pending bond.
