James Posey, 46, of Rome was arrested this week for being in possession of a firearm and reckless conduct.
Posey allegedly was found to be driving down Shorter Ave and Turner McCall while waving around a pistol in an erratic manner. He was also found to be in possession of a concealed weapon.
One of the weapons had been reported stolen in January 2016.
Posey was also driving with a suspended license.
Posey is charged with felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, felony possession of a stolen firearm, felony possession of a firearm during a crime, possession of a concealed weapon, carrying a pistol without a license, reckless conduct, and driving with a suspended license.
