Cory Brock, 42, of Rome was arrested Monday for paying with a bad check in November 2017.
Brock is accused of paying Stone LLC with a checking knowing there would not be sufficient funds to back the check. The check was for $950.
The check was returned to the company stating “Not Sufficient Funds.” As a result, there was an additional $25 service charge and a $5 bank fee.
Brock is charged with misdemeanor deposit account fraud.
