The Georgia State Patrol says that thirty-year-old Michael “Cody” Fulmer has succumed to a traffic crash that occured near Taylor’s Ridge on Saturday evening.
Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader told WZQZ News that the accident was a single vehicle crash involving a pickup truck that happened around 7:30 PM last Saturday. Fulmer was traveling south on Highway 27 when he apparently lost control of the truck and crashed. Redmond EMS transported Fulmer to the hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries.
Fulmer was a married father of three children. No funeral arrangements have been announced at this time.
The Georgia State Patrol is still completing their report about the fatal accident.
