Cartersville Police arrested Marion Thomas of Cartersville and booked him into the county jail on Tuesday night for three counts of aggravated assault with a gun, one count of cruelty to children in the first degree for maliciously causing a child under the age of 18 cruel or excessive physical or mental pain, one count of reckless conduct causing harm to or endangering the bodily safety of another, two counts of theft by receiving stolen property, one count of discharge of a gun near a public highway, three counts of possession of a weapon during commission of certain crimes, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or a first offender probationer, and a felony of violation probation.
