A 16 year old resident of Ider Alabama has been charged as an adult with multiple counts of Child Molestation and is currently being held in the Chattooga County, Georgia Jail. He appeared in Chattooga County Superior Court on Thursday and was denied bond.
The teenager is facing three counts of Child Molestation and one count each of Aggravated Child Molestation and Aggravated Sodomy.
Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Eddie Stroup told media outlets that the teen is accused of molesting five children between the ages of 4 and 9 over a period of two years. Stroup said that the victims are related to the accused.
16 year olds can be charged as adults in Georgia for felony offenses.
