Gregory Deshane Gordon, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he used a closed fist to punch another man in the face.
Reports said that the victim required medical attention from the attack.
The incident occurred at the intersection of East 13th Street and Hull Avenue.
Gordon is charged with battery.
