Timothy Carey Horton Sr, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he was found with synthetic marijuana before attempting to destroy it.
Reports said that Horton was found with synthetic marijuana and then attempted to destroy it when he came in contact with police.
Police went on to say that he admitted to smoking the drugs in an effort to “get high. He was also allegedly found with rolling papers.
Horton is charged with possession of synthetic marijuana, tempering with evidence, driving on a suspended license and possession of drug related objects.
