Brandon L Francis, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he was pulled over for allegedly running a stop sign and then fought with police.

Reports stated that after being pulled over police discovered an active warrant for Francis.  Officers stated that Francis then refused to comply with commands to step out of the vehicle, and as a result had to be forcibly removed.

Reports added that during the process Francis “throwed bows” at officers.

Francis is charged with four counts felony obstruction, failure to obey traffic control devices and probation violation.

Laconia Deloria Davis, 25 of Shannon, then allegedly jumped on an officers back and proceeded to hit him in the head.

Davis is charged with simple assault and felony obstruction.
