James Henry Laster, 55 of Suffolk Va, was jailed in Rome after he acted violent toward a 27 year-old woman before turning his attention to police.
Reports said that the victim called police for help after Laster “placed her in fear of her safety”.
Police stated that when they arrived on scene Laster threatened to “kick the officer’s ass”. He also allegedly threatened the officer’s family, which was all captured on video and audio.
Laster is charged with three counts terroristic threats and acts and disorderly conduct.
