A Rome couple, Kent Anderson Hood, 52, and Molly Elizabeth Mason, 29, both of Rome, were arrested when a traffic stop at the intersection of Redmond Road and Rogers Drive led Deputy Chris Parton to find meth.

Reports stated that after being pulled over for driving with a busted taillight a search was conducted and in the process leading officers to fine methamphetamine and Xanax pills.

Reports added that both suspected denied that the meth was theirs.

Both are charged with possession of meth.

Mason is additionally charged with probation violation.

Hood is also charged with possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and a taillight violation.
