A Calhoun man, Stanley Lee Taylor, 34, was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on Highway 140 in Adairsville Tuesday afternoon. According to reports an Adairsville Police Officer stopped the vehicle after seeing it weaving all over the roadway.
Police stated that Taylor appeared to be very nervous and as a result asked Taylor for consent to search his vehicle.
The search of the vehicle turned up approximately 127 Alprazolam pills inside of a glass container which was stuffed between the seats.
Taylor is charged with failure to maintain a lane, failure to exercise due care (using his cell phone), possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.
