Patrick Taylor Sims, 22 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he attacked his 55 year-old father at Wal-Mart while smoking in the store.
Reports went on to state that Sims then made physical contact with another woman when he poured water on her at the store.
The incident occurred in front of a small child.
Sims is charged with battery, simple battery, cruelty to children and two counts disorderly conduct.
