Cristy Amanda Smith, 39 of Rome, was jailed this week after police said she attacked a man that she lived with at their home on Avenue A.
Report said that Smith hit the man in the face multiple times, leaving an abrasion on his right side.
Authorities added that the victim recorded the attack on his cellphone.
Smith is charged with simple battery.
