Jesse Dewayne Dutton, 29 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he wrote a fraudulent check from Lighthouse Construction to Elm Street Food and Beverage for $348.
Reports added that the forgery was done back on March 25.
Dutton is charged with fourth degree forgery.
