Gordon Scott Powell, 57 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week after he yelled and cursed at emergency personnel at Floyd Medical Center.
Reports added that when police was called Powell hit one of them.
Powell is charged with felony obstruction, interference with emergency personnel, simple battery against a police officer and disorderly conduct.
