Funeral service for Betty Glass Kelley, 81, of Piedmont will be Monday, April 30, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Sam Roe officiating. Burial will follow at Piedmont Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Mrs. Kelleypassed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Harvey (Bob) of Piedmont and Pam McDonald (Jamie) of Centre; five grandchildren, Jerrod Harvey (Ginger), Brandon Harvey (Valene), Justin Harvey, Kelli Faulkner (Nick), and Kristin Hamby (Mitchell); six great-grandchildren, Ethan Harvey, Eli Harvey, Callie Faulkner, Brantley Faulkner, Beau Hamby and Madi Hamby; one brother, Don Glass of Montgomery and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jerrod Harvey, Brandon Harvey, Justin Harvey, Nick Faulkner, Mitchell Hamby and Ethan Harvey. Mrs. Kelley was a longtime resident of Piedmont where she was a member of the First Congregational Methodist Church. She retired from Springs Industries with 30 years of service. She loved her family and was a loving caregiver to her husband Jerry for many years. Mrs. Kelley enjoyed working in her yard and had a special place in her heart for animals, especially cats. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Kelley and a great Grandson, Jase Hamby.
