A 33 year-old homeless Rome man, Gary Michael Turner, was arrested this week after police said he went to a home he had been banned from on Kraftsman Road.
Reports said that while police was taking him in custody they located a gun in his pants.
Authorities added that the law forbids Turner from having a gun because he is a convicted felon.
Turner is charged with criminal trespass and possession of a firearm by convicted felon.
