Jason Shane Hartley, 37 of Cedartown, was arrested over the weekend after police said he ran from them in an attempt to escape arrest.
Reports added that after being captured he was found to be in possession of 2 9mm luger pistol rounds and a Smith and Wesson 40 cal handgun.
Hartley is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and obstruction of law enforcement
