Johnny Lee Olive, 31 of Rome, was arrested in Rome this week after police said he was found in a drunken state on Redmond Circle.
Reports said that while officers were placing him under arrest he resisted them, resulting in visible bodily injury to two of them. Reports added that he spat at another.
Olive is charged with felony obstruction, public drunk, six counts of obstruction of law enforcement, and two counts obstruction of an officer.
