Christopher Bernard Selman, 47 of Rome, was arrested this week when he was accused of running from police after he was found to be in possession of five counterfeit $20 bills and a pipe containing suspected methamphetamine.

Reports said that Selmon attempted to elude police in a vehicle and on foot.

Selman is charged with possession of drug related objects, possession of dangerous drugs, obstruction, forgery, acquiring license plate for concealing identity of vehicle, driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance, attempting to elude police and parole violation.
