Jepaul James Adams, 34 of Atlanta, was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week after reports said Adams, along with others involved in an Atlanta gang, did on multiple occasions commit burglaries around Rome and the state.
Reports said that in 2016 Adams and others allegedly went into the Southern Pride Food Mart on Martha Berry Blvd and committed a smash and grab burglary, which resulted in over $500 in damage to the store.
Adams is charged with smash and grab burglary, burglary and violation of the Georgia RICO act.
