John Eric Long, 32 of Adairsville, was arrested at a home on Rockmrt Road after he allegedly physically attacked his elderly mother.
Reports said that Long intentionally threw his mothers heater. He then reportedly held her down before dragging her by the feet from outside to inside the home.
Long is charged with simple battery and criminal trespass.
