An arrest was made over the weekend after BCSO deputies were dispatched to the area of State Route 113 westbound past Euharlee Road in reference to a motorist pointing a gun out of his window at someone.
The victim told deputies that there was some road rage between him and the suspect. They started gesturing at one another and the suspect pointed a silver gun at him. The suspect’s vehicle tag belonged to a blue Chevy Tahoe whose owner’s address was listed on Taylor Drive in Cartersville.
A deputy met with Nikolas Devante Richards there. Richards said he pointed the weapon at the suspect because he was a large individual. He stated that the pistol was in the front of his vehicle and was a silver Smith and Wesson 40 caliber.
Richards was placed under arrest for aggravated assault.
