Business Partners Rusty Dooley and Tommy Pledger got into a fight while driving down the road last Thursday.
Reports say that a local deputy was waiting at a red light when he noticed two men in the car behind him fighting in the driver’s seat.
The deputy attempted to break up the fight but was unable to because the doors were locked and both men were ignoring his verbal commands. There were also two investigators attempting to help him end the scuffle.
At some point, one of the men unlocked the door and the fight was broken up by the deputy. Pledger stated that he and Dooley had been arguing about their business when the fight broke out.
According to Pledger, he had been in the process of purchasing Dooley’s half of the business. The two men had been having disagreements of how much Pledger would pay and when the official transition of power would take place.
After Dooley threatened to halt the process completely, the two entered into a shouting match that turned physical despite the fact that they were driving down Washington St.
Neither men wished to press charges.
