Three individuals were arrested on drug charges in Cherokee County on Wednesday.

27 year old Cedar Bluff resident Joseph Adam Clonts was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in addition to Failure to Appear on two prior counts of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, two counts of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance – and one count each of Chemical Endangerment and Domestic Violence 2nd Degree/Assault.

Janssen Layne Jordan, age 40 of Centre was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Carrying Brass Knuckles – while Lisa Danielle Melton, age 41, also from Centre, was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Clonts was booked into jail just after 9:00am – Jordan and Melton at around 12:00 noon.

All three remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing
