Jill Marie Brown, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after she was accused of stalking a woman at her place of employment.

Reports stated that Brown violated a protection order back on July 5, 2017 when she went to Michael’s store in order to “harass or intimate the victim”.

Reports added that Brown went into the store numerous times while she was not at work and at least once while she was on duty.

Brown is charged with aggravated stalking.

Jill Marie Brown, 32 of Rome, turned herself into the Floyd County Jail this week after an investigation into illegal computer forgery. Reports said that Brown defrauded several women out of funds through a business she called Southern Wire Bangles. Investigators said that the alleged acts occurred from September through November of last year.

Reports added that on Sept 12 through the 16th she took $299.76 for items that were never given. Police said that she also never returned the money

Again in October she allegedly took $336 for items never produced.

Later that month she allegedly charged an additional $168 to a victim’s bank account without her approval.

Then in November she allegedly took $150 from yet another victim.

Brown is charged with three counts of computer forgery and theft by taking.

The investigation is ongoing.
