Tamar Tremayne Daniel, 19 of Rome, was arrested this week after he was accused of stealing nearly $17,000 worth of jewelry from a home on Jack Street in Lindale.
Reports said that Daniel stole a Rolex watch worth $8.500, a plastic baggie containing antique jewelry including a solitaire wedding ring with a 2K diamond, a ring with diamonds in the shape of a flower ($2,000), a ring with a blue stone ($900) and a gold necklace with 3 pearls ($1,500).
Police said that the items were found in Daniel’s possession.
Several other items that were taken from the home have not been recovered.
Daniel is charged with felony theft by taking.
