Tamara Jackson called 911 on Tuesday to report a possible credit card scam.
Jackson claimed to have had an unauthorized transaction on her credit card for a purchase on Amazon Prime.
Jackson said that she used google to find the number for Amazon Prime. While on the phone, the persom she was speaking with convinced her to give them her credit card number. She did so and then realized that he might be scamming her. Before getting off the phone, the man convinced her to buy a $100 dollar itunes giftcard.
Jackson attempted to cancel the card once she got off the phone but not before the $100 dollars was taken out of her account.
The case has been turned over to an investigator.
