Bartow County authorities arrested a man who stole an ambulance from Clayton County Tuesday.
Reports said that Scrivani Norman Louis, of White, stole the ambulance and a multiagency pursuit ensued on I75.
Reports added that when police attempted to pull Louis over he attempted to flee, despite having a GPS locator onboard the ambulance.
Police said that they eventually deployed spike strips in order to stop the ambulance. Shortly after hitting the spike sticks Louis then tried to strike police officers in their patrol vehicle with the ambulance.
After all of the tires deflated Louis then attempted to flee on foot before quickly being arrested by law enforcement.
Louis is charged with Willful Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers, two counts of Aggravated Assault, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer for a Felony, and Theft by Receiving Stolen Property.
