Rome Police Find Meth and Counterfeit Money During Search

Richard Carlton Lewis, 42 of Rome, was arrested on Monday after he was found with drugs and counterfeit money.

Reports said that authorities found over an ounce of meth, a syringe and cash during a search of Lewis on Maple Street at North 3^rd Street.

Reports added that police also found a counterfeit $100 bill.

Lewis is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, 2^nd degree forgery, possession of drug related objects and probation violation.
