Two Rome men were arrested on numerous drug charges after being pulled over for allegedly not wearing a seat belt Wednesday.

Reports said that Terry Hayden Rittenhouse, 47, was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt.  Authorities said that the act violated his probation and as a result was taken into custody. A search was conducted in the vehicle in which a bag of suspected methamphetamine and digital scales were found.

A passenger, Ronald Lee Smith Jr, 41, was also in the car at the time of the stop.

Both men are charged with possession of meth, possession of drug related objects and probation violation.

Rittenhouse is additionally charged with not wearing a seat belt.
