Brian Evan Precise, 33 of Rome, was arrested on Tuesday after police said he physically attacked a woman.
Reports said that the victim told police that Precise pushed her down.
Police stated that red marks on her neck and both shoulders were noticed.
Precise is charged with battery and probation violation.
