Rome Man Accused of Breaking into Home, Numerous Vehicles

Steven Lee Hopkins, 27 of Rome, was arrested on Tuesday after police said he broke into two vehicles and stole banking cards.

Reports said that he broke into a vehicle on Nelson Street and stole $100 cash and a prepaid debit card on June 4^th.

Reports continued that on the 5^th he entered a garage on Wilshire Road and broke into a vehicle, taking two bank cards before trying to use them.

Hopkins is charged with burglary, two counts entering an automobile to commit a felony, financial transaction card fraud, and two counts theft by taking.
