Clayton Allen Lewis, age 67 of Summerville, passed away Thursday June 15, 2017 at her residence.
Clayton was born February 13, 1950 in Floyd County, a son of the late Hoyt W. Lewis and Willie P. Lewis. He was a retired truck driver. Clayton was preceded in death a sister, Shirley Lewis.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sue Lewis, sons, Clayton S. (Deborah) Lewis, Anthony (Whitney) Lewis, daughters, Sharon (Todd) Tankersley, Christel (John) Suber, brothers, Joe Lewis, Oscar Lewis, sister, Jewel Martin, grandchildren, James Lewis Megan Tankersley, Bo Cardin, JaxonLewis, and Nova Lewis, great grandchildren, Isiah Lewis, Kaylee Lewis, and Colby Tankersley, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday June 18, 2017 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. officiating. Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour on Sunday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen and are asked to meet at the funeral home by 2:30 P.M. on Sunday, Sammy Lewis, Anthony Lewis, James Lewis, John Simmons, Bobby Simmons, and Tim Momon.
