A two week investigation into methamphetamine trafficking and distribution has resulted in four people being arrested while a fifth person is being sought by Gordon County deputies.

Gordon County deputy sheriffs and sheriff’s detectives executed search and arrest warrants at a private residence at 186 Pack Road near Ranger in eastern Gordon County over the weekend . The residence had been under surveillance for several days, and the investigation involved a number of undercover drug purchases. The deputies executing the search warrant found more methamphetamine, as well as illegal and illegally held firearms in the home.

Four persons were arrested at the home without incident:

Carl Lee McNabb, a.k.a. “Peanut”, age 44, of 186 Pack Road, Ranger, charged with Trafficking and Distribution of Methamphetamine, and firearms related offenses.

Joey Shane Wooten, age 47, of 186 Pack Road, Ranger, charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Prescription Drug-related offenses and firearms-related offenses.

Pearl Lucille Kirby, age 51, of 186 Pack Road, charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Prescription Drug-related offenses and firearms-related offenses.

Jessica Jollen Pratt, age 40, of 260 Beatrice Court, Ranger, charged with Possession of Methamphetamine With Intent to Distribute, Prescription Drug-related offenses, and firearms-related offenses

These four defendants are being held in jail pending bond, while deputies are seeking a fifth defendant, DAVID LEE MONTGOMERY, age 44, of 198 Pack Road, Ranger. The Sheriff’s Office holds outstanding warrants for his arrest for multiple counts of Trafficking in Methamphetamine. MONTGOMERY is believed to be driving a black, 1994 Dodge Ram pick-up truck bearing Georgia license plate PWR 9219. If anyone sees MONTGOMERY or knows of his whereabouts, they are urged to call 911 immediately.
