Pearlie Sue Hudgins, 63 of Rome, was arrested on Friday after she allegedly pulled a gun on six children, ages 8 to 11 years of age, and one of their mothers.

Reports said that Hudgins yelled and cursed while on the telephone with 911 loud enough for neighbors to hear.

Reports added that after officers arrived on the scene Hudgins proceeded to threatened to kill one of them three times during the course of their investigation.

Police also said that Hudgins refused to comply with officers commands. They also found a semi-automatic pistol in her possession, which is illegal because she is a convicted felon.

Hudgins is charged with aggravated assault, cruelty to children in the third degree, seven counts of pointing a gun at another, three counts of terroristic threats and acts, disorderly conduct, unlawful conduct during a 911 call, obstruction of law enforcement, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
