Cartersville police have arrested Thomas Benjamin Gilstrap after being identified as the suspect who used a 20 pound dumbbell to damage and ATM outside of the Family Savings Credit Union.

Cartersville police said on its Facebook page that Gilstrap was identified by a citizen “who observed that one bicep was much larger than the other.”

Gilstrap is charged with criminal damage to property in the second degree.

The Cartersville Police Department is requesting the communities assistance in identifying the pictured suspect who willfully damaged the ATM of Family Savings Credit Union.

The damage occured on Sunday evening just before 9 pm.
