Lacey Dawn Heard, 31 of Silver Creek, was arrested on Wednesday after she allegedly failed to send her 10 year-old to son to school.
Reports stated that Heard’s son has had 15 unexcused absences this year. They added that on March 1 Heard was contacted by police and notified that the child had 9 unexcused absences, since then the child has missed six additional days.
Heard is charged with truancy, the mandatory education for children.
